Heat advisory today... reminds me if the little paintings I've been working on. Bright yellow, orange and hot pink! Music, sun spots and flowers... dance around the canvas!

It's the little things that make life nice...  like summer flowers, quiet Sunday afternoons... and sitting in my cozy little place listening to the birds sing. It's accidently finding something that  makes me laugh out loud...  like a French Bulldog blowing a bubble... or something that reminds me of my child, far away at college... (she often talks in a fake British accent)! It can be finding secrets in an old journal... or just relaxing in a favorite chair... or two. It's the little things, like staring into a beautiful painting... wondering how to actually dive into it... and celebrating the little things with streamers and balloons... and dressing up for no reason at all. It's having your cake and eating it too! All of these things, these little things, can really make life nice! Have a great day!!!
