For today's #tbt I'd like to go back to the Summer of 2012.  It was a bright, sunny day and this little poetic phrase came to me.  The pictures are from a previous project and seemed to fit just right! "...their houses were tucked neatly beneath the brightest colored flowers... allowing only shimmering light to pass through... and dazzle their days with  magical color..." The days were long and my studio was a place of bright colors and endless inspiration. Currently, it's been a long, cold winter... but this reminds me that Summer will come again soon. Ocean Blue and the Cup Cake Parade by LolaBird Ride the wave the wave of blue but leave your footprints  in the sand. Follow the clouds, follow thru stay true to your heart, it knows what to do. Flow with the pink, sharp and brite but leave out the glitter for your Friday nite. Use it freely... without care, sprinkle a trail on the back stair so you can find your way home, in case you're alone. Bloom your fancy bloom it true Ah ha you've got it... electric blue. {I see  a cupcake parade}

by LolaBird There are just days when I am in a haze... trying to break thru,  think I don't know what to do. Then I remember,  just in time... there is no spot where I am blind. I have the  answers in my mind.   If I just tune in and believe the song... my troubles melt away, suddenly they're gone! {dot dot dot paint the spot... bright happy colors sad I am not!}

From time to time I'll feature the "Random Chatter"  of a little birdie... a 'guest blogger'... if you will... who calls herself LolaBird! "Some Things" "Some things are rushing thru my head... I've got to stop, but don't... instead...
